Criminal Justice and the Criminal Courts
Course Number: 110-Q-01 Dansky 3 Units
This course is an introduction to the American criminal justice system, through the lens of the criminal courts. The course focuses on the structures and theories at play in the criminal court system, emphasizing court procedures, structures, constitutional guarantees, and the trial process. The roles of individual agents - the police, prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, probation officers, and corrections officials - will be examined.

This course will be taught at the Law School in Packer 300, which is located on the third floor of the Law School Administrative Building.
